The first Outpost 19 base is live: with a central tower, bot factories, and resource sheds forming a tight gameplay loop. It’s simple, fun, and built to last.
We’re excited to share a behind-the-scenes look at the very first iteration of the Outpost 19 base - the strategic heart of the game.
At the center of it all stands the main defense tower, your last line of resistance and your scouting post. On each side, you’ll find two bot factories, responsible for producing the NPCs that fight down the lanes. Supporting them are sheds for electricity and iron production - the core resources that power everything you do.
This layout is our first playable setup, and so far, it feels very natural. The scale, pacing, and interaction points are starting to click. We’ve deliberately kept things minimal at this stage. Rather than overbuilding with too many systems too early, we’re focused on boiling the game down to its purest essence - a tight gameplay loop that’s intuitive, strategic, and satisfying.
We’re not interested in fluff. Every feature we add must earn its place. By building from a solid foundation, we’re making sure the fun stuff (the upgrades, the surprises, the chaos) sits on top of something meaningful.
This is just the beginning. As development continues, we’ll keep tweaking, refining, and expanding. But this first outpost? It already feels like home.
More soon.
