Rethinking the Circuit Board Timing

Two big changes to how the circuit board works.

First, we've been deep in the timing thresholds and margins: getting the hit windows to feel fair but challenging is harder than it sounds. Too tight and it feels punishing, too loose and it loses its identity. We're iterating through playtests to find that sweet spot.

Second: we removed the requirement to kill every enemy before moving on. The four circuit boards still gate the exit, but you're no longer forced to clear out every straggler, push forward when you're ready. It makes the game feel faster and puts more agency in the player's hands.
